Laura Benedict

Laura is an author, photographer, and lifelong learner with 6 degrees, 3 of which are master’s. She is working on her seventh degree, having already mastered organizational leadership, anthropology from UNLV, and most recently, arts administration. She has seven years' experience as a museum professional and is currently the anthropology collections specialist at the Arizona Museum of Natural History, in the heart of downtown Mesa, Arizona. Laura is a non-traditional student for several reasons, including the 12 year hiatus between high school graduation and her first semester in a community college, that she holds a full-time job in addition to attending two online courses, and that her son is old enough to attend classes alongside her

John Benedict

John is a full-time faculty member in the Aviation Sciences Department at Southern Utah University, teaching aircraft systems for pilots, air transportation, and aviation law. He is also a scuba instructor and a freelance photographer. John has a master’s degree from Fort Hays State University, a second master’s degree in public administration, bachelor’s degree in geology, and a second bachelor's degree in geosciences/meteorology, an associates in anthropology from CSN, a third bachelors from UNLV in Anthropology and is a pursuing a third master’s degree in education with an emphasis in Higher Education.
